The Shimadzu Prominence HPLC system is used for both analytical and semi-preparative separations. The instrument is equipped with fluorescence, photo diode array (PDA), and evaporative light scattering (ELSD) detectors, and is combined with a fraction collector.
The instrument has a multitude of set-ups and combination and is capable of delivering both isocratic and gradient solvent elution from 0.2 to 10.5 mL/minute. A wide range of separations are performed on the instrument, encompassing both normal and reverse phase conditions; with a wide variety of column chemistries utilised for purification, quantitative analysis, fractionation, and chiral separation.
